Woodcarving gallery

Woodcarving is a very old branch of decorative art. It is also a kind of artistic craft that was once also used for carving in stone. Grzegorz Michałek is currently the most famous representative of woodcarving whose original and unique style is inspired, among others, by the Zakopane style, also known as the Witkiewicz style. Its main features are visible in the interpreted form in most of the artist’s works.
