Original sculptures

Original sculptures made by Grzegorz Michałek is woodcarving of the highest quality. They show spontaneity and novelty, as well as references to Slavic beliefs or shamanic practices. It is not in vain to find academic patterns here, it is more of a dialogue that the artist engages in with the material on which he works. You can sense a lot of respect and love for wood, which, submitting to the artist’s noble work, is able to express his desires and imaginations. The sculptures can be seen in Michałek’s studio.
